Wood-based panels
Plywood
They are made up of multiple layers of wood stacked together, with the fibers of each layer oriented perpendicular to those of the previous one. This gives them strength and stability. They are lightweight, easy to work with, and used in furniture, construction, and the maritime industry.
MDF and HDF
MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard): a medium-density wood fiber panel, smooth and easy to work with. Used for furniture, doors, and interior paneling.
HDF (High Density Fiberboard): similar to MDF but denser, harder, and more durable. Used for laminate flooring, furniture bottoms, and more robust applications. More stable and less absorbent.
Wood fiber
Wood fiber panels are composite materials made by pressing wood fibers bonded with resins. They are versatile, economical, easy to work with, and are primarily used in furniture, construction, and insulation.
Slatted panels
Panels made of wood slats glued together, arranged in parallel and joined to form a solid panel. They can be made from solid wood or a combination of wood and other materials, and are used in the production of furniture and structures.
Chipboards panels
Rough chipboard panels made from recycled wood or poplar. Ideal for scaffolding, shelves and sills. Available in waterproof and fireproof versions.
Osb panels
Oriented strand board panels made of wood chips, glued and hot pressed. Ideal for outdoor use and green building. Versatile, highly resistant to stress with low environmental impact.
